Amman, July 5 (Petra) -- Curtains will go up on Amman Summer Festival 2017 Thursday night at the main stage of Al Hussein Park, President of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) committee Yousef Shawarbeh announced Wednesday .

GAM has been working with all related authorities and completed preparations that include providing yards and parking lots around Al Hussein Park, Shawarbeh added .

The 10-day festival will be held for the 11th year in four locations inside the park, with the main stage hosting plays and artistic events. The theatre will be used for young talent shows, the kids area for cultural and entertaining events directed to children, and the markets area for offering crafts and food for visitors.

The event will feature many Jordanian, artists, bands and plays to ensure a diverse entertainment for all visitors.

GAM has announced that Al Hussein Park will be closed during the festival to facilitate the movement of vehicles and pedestrians inside the park except for visitors to the Royal Automobile Museum.
