1928 Palestinians arrested by Israel since beginning of 2018
Ramallah, April 17 (Petra)--Israeli occupation forces have arrested 1928 Palestinians since the beginning of 2018 until the end of March including 369 children and 36 women, according to a report issued by the Palestinian Prisoners Society on the occasion of the Palestinian Prisoners Day.

"Israel is currently detaining 6,500 Palestinians, including 350 children and 62 women, eight minor girls and six members of the Palestinian Legislative Council," the report said.

Of the prisoners, 48 have been arrested for more than 20 years, 25 for more than 25 years, and 12 prisoners for more than thirty years. Those prisoners are among 29 prisoners who were arrested before the implementation of the Oslo Agreement.
