News Details Customs Dept foils cigarettes smuggling attempt   Amman, Feb. 27 (Petra) -- Jordan Customs Department (JCD) personnel at the Ramtha border crossing foiled an attempt to smuggle 1600 cartons of cigarettes. JCD Director General Ghaleb Sarayreh on Monday said that the smuggled cigarettes were found inside two cars coming from a neighboring country, adding that the department had seized the smuggled items and the two vehicles until collecting customs fees and fines.
