Amman, May 14 (Petra)--Prime Minister Fayez Tarawneh on Monday discussed with visiting Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohammad Kamel Amr Jordanian-Egyptian ties, regional issues as well as the latest developments in Egypt.

At the meeting, which was attended by Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, the prime minister highlighted the importance of Egypt’s role at the regional and international levels, adding that the Egyptian internal affair concerns all Arab countries.

Tarawneh voiced hope that the political situation in Egypt will get back to normal and that Egypt would finalize a constitution that would regulate political life.

Egypt, the premier said, is an important factor for regional stability, adding that all political spectra should take into consideration the higher political interests of Egypt and the Arab nation.

The Egyptian minister briefed Tarawneh on the political and economic situation in Egypt as well as challenges facing it.

He said Egypt was committed to supplying Jordan with Egyptian gas, adding it was exerting efforts to continue the process of providing the Kingdom with gas.
