Amman, July 5 (Petra) - Minister of Finance Suleiman Hafez on Thursday discussed with the U.S. ambassador in Amman Stuart Jones bilateral relations and economic development the Kingdom has achieved despite the current regional and global challenges.
The minister said that Jordan is making steps to keep pace with progress and prosperity, expressing confidence in the ability of the national economy to achieve acceptable growth this year despite the difficult economic conditions.
Al-Hafez thanked the American ambassador in Amman for his efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries. He also valued the US's support to the Kingdom in various fields.
