Amman, Oct.11 (Petra) -- A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, bringing pleasant conditions in much parts of the country with scattered clouds at various altitudes.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD),winds will be northwesterly light to moderate.
Similar weather conditions are also forecast over the next two days, but clouds will appear at low altitudes with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern regions will reach 24 degrees Celsius and in the southern governorates they will stand at 21, dropping down at night to 14 and 9 respectively. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 35 degrees, sliding to 22 at night, the JMD added.
